TWO men stole a woman's handbag as she waited in a Lancaster takeaway on Wednesday evening.
The woman had put her bag down on a bench in Super Chef in Brock Street, at around 11.45pm, when the two men entered the premises, sat on the bench alongside the bag, and then made off with it.

The bag contained a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and £15 cash.

One of the men is described as being white, broad build, wearing a grey round-necked button fronted t-shirt. The second offender was also white and of broad build, with dark hair and a distinctive long nose. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a white circular design on the front.

Anyone with any information should contact Lancaster police on 63333.
