Cars collide with petrol pump

ONE woman was taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries in a road traffic collision in Cockerham on Tuesday morning.
Two cars, a Honda Civic driven by a man from Caton, and a Land Rover Freelander driven by a man from Berkshire, were involved in a collision close to a garage in Lancaster Road at 10.30am.

The cars then collided with a petrol pump on the forecourt. The petrol pumps were switched off and the fire service called to assess the situation.

The injured woman, a passenger in the Honda Civic, was taken to hospital.
