TWO horses were led to safety by their owner after a suspected arson attack on their stable.
The animals were in the wooden stable off Ashbourne Road in Skerton when it was set alight at 7.10pm on Monday.

Firefighters who extinguished the blaze said they had arrived to find the owner had seen the fire and managed to release his horses, which were unhurt.

Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information should call 01524 63333 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.
