King Street fatal - man named

A MAN killed in a road crash outside Lancaster's former Regal Cinema on Monday afternoon has been named.
Sadhu Singh, 75, of Morecambe, died following a collision with a car in King Street, close to the junctions of Queen Street and Spring Garden Street at 12.50pm.

He was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary but died ofhis injuries.

Mr Singh, a retired businessman, has a widow and five sons.

This section of the one way system was closed for an hour after the accident while police carried out investigations.

Police are currently investigating the incident futher and say they would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything relating to the accident.
