A 45-YEAR-OLD man had to be cut from his car and airlifted to hospital after a two vehicle collision at Yealand Redmayne.
The man suffered back and neck injuries when the blue Ford Maverick he was driving collided with a black Kia opposite Browfoot Farm in Storrs Lane at 3.50pm yesterday.

Firefighters from Silverdale and Carnforth cut him from the car.

North West Air Ambulance was called due to the remote location and flew the man to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

His injuries were not thought to be serious.
