Missing Kirkby Lonsdale woman found dead

THE body of an 86-year-old missing Kirkby Lonsdale woman has been found in Lake Windermere.
Police were urgently appealing for information on Ivy Riley, of Eaves Lea, Main Road, who was last seen in Kirkby Lonsdale on Tuesday night.

At 1pm yesterday, Wednesday, a passer-by discovered her body in Lake Windermere near Waterhead in Ambleside.

Her family have been informed.
