TEEN terrors smashed nine shop windows during a late-night wrecking spree in Morecambe's West End, causing more than £4,000 of damage.
It is believed the vandals used objects including traffic cones and signs as they left a trail of destruction.
Police are studying CCTV footage from between midnight and 2am on Monday, which shows two white men aged around 17, and two white women aged around 16, who they believe to have been involved.
Pegasus Pets in Regent Road had two side windows and a door panel smashed in a room containing budgies, hamsters and a white rabbit.
Owner, Vicky Routledge, said: "The rabbit has not been well since – I think it may have become stressed.
"I just think these people are the scum of the earth, they have no respect for anybody."
The RSPCA shop in Regent Road had to close for half a day.
Trustee, Jean Stowell, said it would have to pay for most of the £450 damage to cover the insurance excess.
"That's about four days of trade," she added. "They are mindless idiots."
Other shops affected in Regent Road were William Hill, Dragon Gate Tattoo Studio, Hu's Chinese Restaurant and Regent Road Flowers.
Gingham Kitchen in Marine Road West, Gizmo's Pizzeria in Albert Road, and Ladbrokes in Yorkshire Street were also hit.
One of the boys is described as large and wore a cream jumper and jeans. The second was medium build and wore a white top with a black patch below the neck on the back and blue jeans.
The first girl was small, with shoulder-length dark hair. She wore a black and white patterned jacket, blue jeans and cream UGG boots.
The second was large with dark hair and wore a light, long-sleeved top.
