FORMER Lancaster City and Morecambe favourite Ryan-Zico Black has written his autobiography.
The 26-year-old takes the reader on an honest journey into his life in football, from his birthplace of Guernsey in the Channel Islands, via spells at Morecambe and Lancaster, Northwich Victoria, Glenavon, Kettering Town (where Paul Gascoigne was manager), Barrow, and a brief stint in Spain.
The book shows the many turns Ryan's career has taken in his attempt to make it in the professional game, a dream he still harbours today.
In the days where many footballers achieve celebrity status all too quickly, this book is a truly refreshing change with a view of the not so glamorous side of the beautiful game.
