International Bowls at Lune Road

A Ladies International bowls match between England and The Isle of Man will be staged at Lune Road Bowling Club on Sunday, July 13.
The match features 20 of the top Lady Bowlers representing their Country.

The England team will be selected from the 20 Merit winners in each County from 2007.Local interest will be focused on Margaret Warburton representing North Lancs & Fylde, Tina Walmsley representing Lancashire while the player from Cumbria will be Debbie Hall.

Spectators are welcome to the first International game to be staged in this area .Admission will be by programme (50p) and refreshments and a bar will be available throughout the afternoon.
