A MORECAMBE man banned from working with children has been sent to prison after employing two teenage boys and sending indecent pictures to them.
Ex-Morecambe Brass Band leader Ian Richards-Burgoine, 38, of Mattock Crescent, Morecambe, was sentenced to 88 weeks imprisonment after pleading guilty to 37 separate offences relating to both
the making and possession of indecent images of children, sending indecent material via a communications network and breach of a disqualification from working with children order.

In 2006, he was disqualified from working with children after pornographic images of children were found in a magazine in his home in Lancaster.

He was a former chairman of Morecambe Brass Band and taught children music.
