Funding boost to help crack crime

COMMUNITY crime-fighting initiatives in the county are to benefit from more than £100,000 worth of funding.
Projects from across the county are being funded by the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime (LANPAC) in conjunction with additional funding from various public sector bodies and private firms.

The latest round of funding will see £ 103,477 handed out to community safety projects.

LANPAC chairman, former Blackpool and England footballer Jimmy Armfield said the group were delighted with the quality and diversity of the projects being sponsored.
