A MAN has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent
following a serious assault in Lancaster.
Michael Hughes, 26, of Brindle Close in Lancaster, has been bailed to appear at Lancaster Magistrates' Court on July 17.

On May 28, 63-year-old John Kierdie Watson was found collapsed at his home in Ripley Street, Lancaster.

He was in Preston Royal Infirmary but has now been returned to the RLI where he remained in a coma. A 47-year-old man from Lancaster and a
20-year-old man of no fixed abode were both released without charge.
