POLICE were called to a property in Caton last Wednesday after a woman reported her son had threatened to use a knife on her.
Around 6.20pm, officers arrived at the house and found that although the woman said threats had been made, she said her son did not have a knife.
Her son had already left the house and officers were involved in an initial search for him but once it became apparent that no offences had been committed the search was ended.
