POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Morecambe last week to contact them.
Two workmen were injured in an unprovoked attack on Monday, June 23 after a man hurled a crowd protection barrier at them and one required hospital treatment for a possible fractured cheekbone.

The incident occurred in the alleyway between Oasis amusements and Home Bargains on Euston Road whilst the men were working on gas piping.

Call PC Andrew Clitheroe at Lancaster police station on 63333 if you can help.
