A STUDENT nurse who lost three years worth of university work when her laptop was stolen is appealing for its return.
Michelle France, 33, of West End Road in Morecambe, had backed up all her work on a disc but unfortunately left it inside the computer.

She said: "I could have referred back to my work when I start a midwifery course in September but that won't be possible now.

"If someone knows where my laptop or phone are, could they please hand them in at the police station?

"I also had four years worth of family pictures on the disc, and as I'm going to be studying midwifery, I had 15 pictures of friends babies on my phone as well.

"My family are all furious and I'm very upset."

The Toshiba L20 laptop was stolen between 3am and 9.30am on July 20 and was worth £1500.

Thieves also took a Nokia 6300 in silver worth £250.

*Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the laptop or mobile phone should contact police at Lancaster on 63333.
