Parrish eyes up Bury return

NEW Morecambe defender Andy Parrish is looking forward to meeting up with some old faces at Gigg Lane on Saturday.
The summer signing was surprisingly released by Shakers' boss Alan Knill at the end of last season and has started all three of Morecambe's games so far after signing a two-year deal.
Now, just three games into the new campaign, he will be back on familiar territory, and lining up against his former employers, as the Shrimps look to win their first League game of the season.
Looking ahead to Saturday's trip he said: "I couldn't believe I was going to be going back to Bury so early in the season.
"It was a bit of a shock when the fixtures came out but you have to play some time and Saturday is as good a date as any.
"I still have a lot of mates there and I'm sure there will be some wind-up texts flying around this week but once we kick off on Saturday I want to do all I can to make sure Morecambe pick up the three points.''
He added: "It would be great to get our first win of the season at Gigg Lane but it won't be easy. They have some decent players and as a defender I know that Andy Bishop can be a bit of a handful and you have to keep a close eye on him as he is such a good goalscorer at this level.
"Glynn Hurst is an excellent striker in the six-yard box while Andy Morrell will be a good addition to their squad. But I know we have a good squad of our own. We were disappointing on Saturday against Rotherham but we will improve I am certain.
