WORK has started on Morecambe FC's new stadium at Westgate.
The club is due to move to the new 7,000 capacity home for the start of the 2010/11 season, with Sainsbury's having bought the current Christie Park ground on which they hope to build a new store.
Visitor editor, Glen Cooper, met Morecambe's director in charge of the new stadium development, Brian Fagan, to check on progress.
