LOW Sizergh Barn at Sizergh in Cumbria has been Highly Commended in the Best Diversification category of the countryside Alliance's Best Rural Retailer competition.
John Park and family, who run Low Sizergh, were presented with their award at a House of Lords (right) by MP Tim Farron.

North of England regional director, Richard Dodd, said: "The Best Rural Retailer competition is all about celebrating local food and local communities, and the Park family are passionate about both. When milk prices went through the floor these dairy farmers didn't give up, but diversified into a hugely successful teashop, farm shop, craft shop and farm trail."
