Dog warden bitten by bull terrier

A DOG owner has been fined after her Staffordshire bull terrier attacked a Lancaster City Council dog warden in a park.

Zoe Pickles, of Cedar Street, Morecambe, admitted three offences after her dog jumped up and bit Liz Akister on the arm in Regent Park.

Pickles pleaded guilty to a dangerous dog offence, having a dog in a public place without identification, and for having her dog off its lead in a designated dogs on leads area.

She was fined £150 and ordered to pay £100 towards the council’s costs, and £75 compensation to Ms Akister.
