Showman who meant so much to so many people
I use the word ‘is’ as I can’t accept that he is gone from this world and it seems that I’m not alone in this sentiment.

Hide AdThis feels like an unprecedented reaction to the loss of an icon and rather odd when you think about it.
Why is it so hard for us to accept this talented man’s mortality?
He always had a unique quality – yes, perhaps even alien – and was as far from mundanity as is conceptually possible.

Hide AdIt still staggers me just how he managed to create, not only great music, but also personas to go with it. Moreover, his ability to perpetually change in a way that was way ahead of the times.
Huge Bowie fan, Italian film director, Michele Alberto Chironi, says, “When I first heard his voice, as a youngster, I thought it like the voice of an alien. Robotic. Really strange and powerful.”

He unbolted a door and set us free to be ourselves, whatever form that took.

His impact on people is unquestionable.
However, I have a feeling he’s still out there somewhere creating his next masterpiece and watching over us with his boundless imagination.
Perhaps he really was ‘The Man Who Fell to Earth’... It really would not surprise me!
