New-name for Lancaster’s Twenty20 side as committee is revamped
The Lancaster Bombers will become the LPNM Lunesiders for next year as part of a continued sponsorship from John Sanderson’s student property business the Lancaster Property Network Management.
The Lune Road side’s short-form side will hoping to go one better than last year when they reached the TWP Wealth Twenty20 finals day where they lost to eventual winners Netherfield at the semi-final stage at Darwen Cricket Club.

The club are looking to bounce back from a difficult year on and off the field with club officials hoping the new-look hierarchy will allow players to concentrate on playing rather than administration.
Moves will now be made to appoint 1st XI and 2nd XI captains as well as recruit new players.
Last season’s struggles saw Lancaster battle towards the bottom of the Northern Premier League having challenged for the title 12 months earlier.
