THE final concert of the 'Camerata at the Coro' season on Thursday, April 3, at Ulverston's Coronation Hall at 7.30pm is the culmination of a wonderful season of concerts.
'Music for all Seasons' is a fabulously pictorial programme and explores the natural world through three contrasting pieces of Baroque music, in a concert featuring the first ever classical musician to win the South Bank Show Breakthrough Award, violinist Jennifer Pike.

The concert includes Vivaldi's evergreen 'Four Seasons' which never fails to amaze with its dramatic and beautiful musical descriptions, and also offers a rare opportunity to hear a piece by Vivaldi's contemporary Rebel.

'The Elements' begins with a vivid depiction of chaos, at the beginning of time, while Telemann's Water Music describes the sound of a huge tidal wave.

Baroque expert Nicholas Kraemer is conductor for the evening.

Tickets are £18/£16/£14 with concessions available. Call the Coronation Hall box office on 01229 587140 for further details or to book.
