IF you head south to Morecambe's beaches this Sunday (July 13) afternoon you won't fail to miss the colourful Catch The Wind Kite Festival.
It will feature amazing display kites as well as great live music on the promenade next to the Midland Hotel and in and around The Platform.

Spectacular aerial displays of beautiful kites of all shapes and sizes are flown by professional fliers from across the country while on the beach beside them hundreds of people get the chance to fly their own kites.

There will be an exciting line up of live music and bands, juggling and amazing antics from Juckalo, and more madness from zany comedy double act Inner State.

The Baybeat Carnival Band will be performing in their lovely new costumes and Diversity FM, community radio station, will provide the soundtrack to the day. Free Family Art workshops by the Adult College will take place inside the Platform as well as more music.
