RHEGED is delighted to announce the arrival of Dinosaurs, Pyramids and Tutankhamen – all of which will be must see attractions at the popular venue when two new Imax style films Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia, seen right, and Mysteries of Egypt start showing. The films will be shown daily for the next 12 months.
Rheged's staff have spent many hours researching the large format films available world wide. Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia has bee

n selected following its successful debut at the London Science Museum.
This is the first time the film will be shown outside London.

It is 45 minutes in length, suitable for all ages and takes you on a journey back nearly 100 million years, where you can see Dinosaurs come to life. Soaring over breathtaking Argentinean landscapes, this film tells the evolutionary story of two of the largest living animals to have ever walked the Earth.

Narrated by Donald Sutherland and through the eyes of an eminent palaeontologist, the audience follows Dinosaurs from their eggs to experiencing them hunt, play and run straight at you, using a blend of science and computer generated imagery. Watching this movie on Rheged's state of the art cinema screen, which is the largest for miles around is the closest you will ever get to the real thing.

Claire Logan-Stephens, group marketing and sales manager, said: "Dinosaurs: Giant of Patagonia and Mysteries of Egypt seemed the ideal choice for our daily movie programme. Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia is really impressive in large-format – it really puts it into perspective when you think that our screen is over twice as big as a T-Rex."

Rheged Centre is located just off Junction 40 of the M6 at Penrith and is open daily from 10am – 5pm. Parking and entry to the centre is free of charge.

Up-to-date film schedules and prices are available online at website www.rheged.com.
