WITH jazz, blues, rock and a variety of acoustic guitar players there will be lots to see and hear at the Cumbria Vintage and New Guitar show, now in its 12th year.
To be held once again at Rheged Visitor and Exhibition centre on August 24 and 25, the show has grown to be a major regional event on the guitar show calendar.

With a great line-up of top players on stage and in the informal demo room, a huge array of guitars old and new plus loads of amps effects and related gear to try out, it will be a Mecca for guitar
enthusiasts.

Plus you can bring your old guitars and related gear to sell at the show.

There will be a chance to improve your playing with free workshop/clinics and an area to play through headphones and FX units.

The show is open 10am to 5.30pm both days and tickets cost £6 each day.

Players at the show include a host of rock, blues, jazz and acoustic performers, and young Cumbrian band 'Falling Red' will play on the Sunday.

There's also a free prize draw to win a guitar and other related gear and a chance to win a guitar weekend of your choice from 'Guitar Weekends' one of the main sponsors of the show.

For more details, or for tickets, go to www.cumbria-guitarshow.co.uk or call Rheged on 01768 860090.
