ANGIE Flynn is based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria and as an artist her particular interest is the female form.
Her inspiration is drawn from everyday surroundings, observing family and friends. Angie works with a variety of techniques to create a tactile surface, such as appliqué, quilting, paint and papier-mache.
Her vibrant artworks capture situations with humour that the viewer can identify with. 'Women in Stitches' represents Angie's latest portfolio of work and is on show in Brantwood's Severn Studio.
Brantwood, the home of John Ruskin from 1872 until his death in 1900, is one of the most beautifully situated house in the Lake District, boasting spectacular views from the eastern shore of Coniston Water.
