HOLKER HALL, near Grange-over-Sands, will host its fifth winter market on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9.
Sweet, savoury, traditional and contemporary; all tastes will find something to please at this warm and welcoming bustling market with its live music and blazing outdoor braziers.

This year, the winter market will be a showcase for the richness and diversity of local food, crafts and textiles, complemented by the exotic additions of stunning South African crafts from Fair Trade company Worx of Africa and traditional Greek produce from Green Choice foods.

Closer to home the market offers a chance to sample more original recipe foods from Lord and Lady Cavendish's daughter Emily Harper's exclusive Emily's Kitchen range, as well as cheese from Holker's resident cheese-maker Martin Gott.

The Holker food hall will be selling hampers and there will be a half price sale in the gift shop. And there'll be lots for children to enjoy too.

For more details go to www.holker.co.uk or call 015395 58328.
