FAMILIES in the North West looking to celebrate Easter in a more traditional style should look no further than their local National Trust property.
This year, Fell Foot Park at Newby Bridge will host a variety of Easter-themed activities including its annual Easter Trail supported by Cadbury.

The UK's number one confectionery company is giving an Easter egg to every child who completes the t
rail and is also organising a range of extra family fun activities for visitors to take part in, including face-painting, child-ren's entertainment and an Easter-themed play area.

The events take place this Sunday, March 23, from 11am to 3pm. For further details of activities and other participating properties, go to www.eastereggtrail.com.

The Easter Trail provides a great day out for families to enjoy together. Egg hunters will follow a trail map around Fell Foot Park visiting 'trail' points and collecting clues. On their return, they will receive a free Cadbury Egghead Easter egg.

Cadbury's support of the National Trust Easter Egg Trail is part of the company's 'Purple goes Green' initiative, a programme to reduce its impact on the environment.

The Cadbury 'Egghead' Easter eggs, which are the trail prizes, are unboxed so use 70 per cent less cardboard packaging than the equivalent sized egg; creating less waste.

The confectionery company is contributing £150,000 to the National Trust Ancient Trees and Woodland conservation programme as part of the Easter Egg Trail activity and its commitment to the environment.
