First to compete on Saturday was 11-year-old Larissa, representing Morecambe Bay Community Primary School. She competed in the under 12 category and had to swim 50m and run 800m, finishing the swim in 53rd position and the run in 92nd position.
It all meant Larissa was placed in a credible 78th position overall.
Sunday saw the boys competing and 14-year-old Shea, also representing Heysham High, knowing there was a lot of competition in his age group.
